Summary:
Responsible for development, implementation, support, and administration of the integrated library system.
Maintains the library's bibliographic database in accordance with standards.
Works with IT and other library staff to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve electronic resources and ensure user access.

None, but may coordinate the activities of part-time or student workers.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of AACRII (Anglo American Cataloging Rules, Revised), Library of Congress Subject Headings, RDA (Resource Description and Access), MARC formats (Machine Readable Cataloging), and general principles of cataloging print and non-print materials, including electronic resources Excellent organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities Clear and effective written and oral communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Self-initiative and ability to work independently Ability to cooperatively work with diverse groups of students and staff Proficient computer and software application skills, especially Microsoft Office, LibGuides, library services platform, Google Suite, online conferencing, learning management system, and Adobe.
Required Qualifications Associate's degree 1-3 years of library experience 1-3 years of experience as a proficient relational database user or with an integrated library system Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree Academic library experience Experience with integrated library systems, such as Alma Physical Demands Work is normally performed in a general office setting Work is conducted in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions This position requires light physical activity and movement; however, there may be some instances where this position would be required to move books and materials that may exceed 20 lbs.

Troubleshoot and maintain shared integrated library system.
Work with IT, Library staff, and CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois) to ensure technology applications are tested, evaluated, monitored, and functional for user access.
Coordinate acquisitions for library collections and associated financial processes.
Assist with processing and maintenance of physical inventory.
Extract data to prepare and provide reports as needed.
Provide support to library users in the use of library resources and technology.
Troubleshoot, improve, document, and adhere to best practices in maintaining library electronic resources.
Provide quality customer service at the Circulation Desk or virtually.
Assist in the planning, implementation, and promotion of library services, resources, events, and displays.
Perform other duties of a similar nature as directed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
